      Goldies in for the night

      Red and white Ryukin male - Robin
      Calico Ryukin male - Omen
      Calico fantail male - Callisto
      Calico fantail/ryukin mix female - Shembje
      White fantail (female???) - Commander
      Red capped Oranda male - Kirsche
      Red and white comet female - Asteroid

      All Walmart rescues except for Asteroid, which was a 29 cent feeder from pet smart

      Thank you Cindy. That is Callisto. He's the king of the pond. Several of the others show the stars but not like him. He also spawned with a female. He's the boy I took to the show last year. He won best novice.

      Yes Nancy they came in from the pond. It's 25° here both nights and though some of them would have been okay, I know some of them wouldn't. For many of my fish, they were in tanks until very recently. They haven't adjusted and they're small. It was too risky.

      I lost my little newest tiniest baby as well. Guess I didn't get her in time. Still learning.

      So sorry for your loss. I have never added any new fish to my pond after August. This will give them time to adjust to the water temp. changes. This has always worked for my fish. They can't take sudden changes in the temps.
