      Hi Cindy,
They are only 9 months old! Are they too young for show?

      Hi Cindy and Richard,
The level of color intensity is not there yet !
But i might enter just for a track record of their development.
      Thanks for the encouragement.

Anybody has experience with Laguna and Tuff Stuff tub ? Please give me your feedback.

I have a 120g aquarium and two 55g ready for these two pairs but i thinking tub would be my choice for long run. For outdoor, i am thinking of two 140 gallons tubs to stack in a way to make one tub as a bog filter and one tub as a pond for the two pairs.
      Any suggestion would be great.

I love the "peacock" tail on these. Where were you able to find them?

I've been searching for a couple of years now.

Hi Basser1. Please pm me for the info! Anyone who is interested in the where and price range, please pm me as well.

I am not listing is on the forum because of two reasons:
      1. I don't know if it is against the forum rule or not.
      2. I like to keep the thread as a place to share the experience of keeping and breeding the Jikin.

      Some answers;
yes, it's against the rules to post fish for sale in the open forums. If you are a selling fish as a vendor and not just "rehoming" them you
need a membership to the Worldwide Koi Club who owns the forum and you'll be provided a Marketplace forum that is yours alone and you
can list the fish for sale there with any prices or details you'd like to add.

Send me a message if you're interested in becoming a vendor on Koiphen and I'd be happy to help.
Otherwise discussing anything about your business and or sales is prohibited.

If you're not selling the fish then there's no rule against simply saying where you got them from and referring the person to the person
or their website that is selling them.
We are mainly just trying to avoid making the open forums a giant cluster of advertisements. But nothing wrong with simply sharing
info on where you got some beautiful fish.

Wow ! Who said that Jikin is hard to breed?

I found one of the tank water slightly milky and a lot of eggs.

I had to change 80% of my water!
What is the best way to clean up the eggs if they are not eating all of them ?
