      ISH Heaven

Today UPS delivered an exciting package to me....a box of Anecphya X Brachyceras crosses. The first two are photos of the plants before being shipped, I used them because the plants weren't blooming when I opened the box. First is N. 'Betty Lou' from Rich Sacher, the second is N. 'Tuonta' from Pairat. The final three are N. 'Big Easy', N. 'New Orleans Lady', and an as yet unnamed lily....all rich Sacher creations. If the blooms look that pretty out of the box, I can't what to get them potted up and have fresh blooms.

Hey Danny, Wiscude maybe more up on this than me....but with the exception of N. violacea, I have difficulty identifying Aussies based solely on their first floating pads.

I only have Tuonta by Nopchai and the small aussie isg called Lady in Blue by Rich. The one time I got Betty Lou I managed to kill the plant somehow. I am much better now with aussies.

      Hi Craig and Wiscdude,
Where do find all these beautiful Aussies? I was able to find only blue Gigantea last year. I want to expand my collection on these

Hello.....I wish I could be of more help. Rich Sacher is probably the guru of the Aussies, but he has closed his operation at American Aquatic Gardens and I don't have contact information I can give you. He did tell me he was working with Harold's Plants to sell lilies, but I don't know if they ship. https://www.facebook.com/Haroldsplants/ Given your area, one of the best sources, at least for info, if not plants I could give you would to be to suggest you contact Nelson's Watergardens in Katy TX. Mike Swize is exceedingly knowledgeable in waterlilies and if anyone can suggest a source it would be him.

I love the Aussies but have too much shade for lilies now

Thanks a lot Craig. I will reach out to both those sellers to see if they have any Aussies.
