Also was hoping it was in there but I can not seem to find the information I was looking for with construction. I hope she can help because I get asked all the time about stuff in construction and not sure what to even say to people when they ask. Right now I am building a half above ground pond half below because of the flooding and the water table here. I keep doubting myself if it will be strong enough and not bow the sides. Would love to see some construction formulas on the wood like 2X8s and 4X6s. And the back supports for them. Also plan on a small concrete pond (aka quarentine/hospital) and would love the input on the different additives to the cement and the pros and cons of each. And then the stuff where you dry stack cement blocks and its kind of like s stucco that is supposed to be stronger than the re-bar method.
Someone kick me I have almost came to a stand still. I really need to at least get water quality done this month and a start on the next to be ready to do the lab part in April. If I do not get it done in time it will be July probably before I can set aside time I know I will be home to do it. 2 Jobs and a not set schedule its hard to plan anything.
Waiting on my water quality test to be regraded I had to resubmit 4 questions so that did not go so well. I went ahead with Marys permission and requested the diagnosis and treatment first test. But I have a question for those that have completed the course. After you complete it do you still have access to the downloaded study material. I noticed when you open it, its actually online it seems and some of the graphs I would like to be able to refer back to if needed at a later time and was not sure if i should copy them or if I could pull them up later after the course was over for me.
They weren't available after I took the courses but if it's the same as when I took the courses,
all the material was either Adobe .pdf files or Microsoft Word documents. You can save those
files on your computer. I saved everything... tests, lessons, handouts, everything I could because
I knew I'd never remember it all.
Water quality was a tough one... I saved all those handouts by Norm Meck and I use them
all time. Good luck with your test!
Found my issue, would help if I had an adobe reader on my computer duh. Feel like and idiot over that. Water quality to me was one of the easier courses maybe because after in the beginning killing so many fish I drilled water quality into my head so bad. On to diagnosis and treatment. May get this done in my time frame yet.
Congrats!
