      The tail of Ogata isn't thick but luckly the bodyline is smooth enough that the weakness isn't too noticeable.

      The breeders can see ahead. Most of the nisai auction fish from the big three have much stronger tails than the tosai that they let go for less.

      It is a crazy amount for one fish. My real point was that bodies like that are never missed by the breeders even when the fish are just a few inches long. We can buy 100 pieces of ISA tosai but none will turn out to have body to match this one.

      The real story is everyone's guess. The dealer Narita agreed to grow it one year so it can be assumed he saw potential. On the flip side, why did the breeder Isa make the decision to sell the fish in the first place.
