Guess the price that this shubunkin will sell for

Here is a picture of an exceptionally beautiful shubunkin that is up for sale on ebay... How much do you think that the sale price will be?

I do like it, but not buying at that price.

I got some that look almost as nice that are offspring or are offspring of offspring of the kids $.09 feeder fish that happened to be longfin shubs and black opals from Petsmart. One is currently a mix of maroon/magenta I am not holding my breath that it stays purple, but has been for the last 9 months.

      That's not a shubunkin, it's a sarassa.

It has a hint of the blue sheen that shubunkins have and looks like there might be a tiny bit of black, definitely not a typical shubunkin.

What has grown to be my favorite fish came out of the 29 cent goldfish tank at Petsmart, sarassa that looks like a nice kohaku koi.

Maybe I should start using eBay, instead of Local sales and Koi/Goldfish Shows. He has a bunch that had sold last week in the 80+ dollar range. I have about 50 of the same nice or better Goldfish right now. The last few shows, they sold very slowly, if at all.

His shipping is is very cheap, I cannot get close to that steep of a discount for next day shipping, My 2 day shipping is almost the same discount as his one day. He must move a lot of fish, for that much of a discount.

The one pictured is more of a Chinese Veil Tail, judging by the fins

I'm curious about the shipping comment. I've paid $15 shipping from the dealer that I had used for imported tosai (he is fairly local). There must be different delivery zones for next day type service. $40 to me is still expensive for a goldfish. He needs to offer lots of 3 to make up for shipping.

Wow 15.00 for overnight or next day is great. I can get to around 25.00 overnight or next day in the same zone, but his is 40,00 anywhere in the US. That is good. Looks like he will combine shipping.

Unique Goldfish are starting to gain some speed, they are heather and harder, but still lack the size of Koi. Most of the people I sell the nice Goldfish to, have smaller ponds

We turned our goldfish pond into a water lily pond several years ago and now with all of the nice gold fish being sold the spouse wants to get some goldfish again.

It's a very black shubunkin that decolored to Sakura.

It is not a veil tail, that shows their lack of knowledge about goldfish. In goldfish long fins do not make a veil tail as in other fish.

In goldfish a veil tail is a fish with long fins and they are filled in between the points, like a delta tail in guppies.

Sometimes the more people pay the more they will enjoy their purchase.

That is the motivation I needed to re-do my website and start posting pictures to move my stock into internet sales more.
