A couple of years ago, my DD took me to a Paul McCartney concert in Charlotte. Rudy asked me to give Paul a little whistle when he sang "Day Tripper".
I did!
Rest in peace Rudy.
My heart goes out to the family. I knew him well over the course of a few years. It always makes me so sad to hear another Koiphener has passed away. He will forever be remembered.
One of my favorite Louisville shows with Rudy https://www.koiphen.com/forums/showth...ouisville-Show
I never got to meet Rudy but from his posts he seemed to be
a very nice person.
He's definitely going to be missed around here.

I went back last night and read a bunch of Rudy's threads. Then went to sleep and dreamed about him the rest of the night. I have been hunting the pic of him in the Silk Italian Suit. One of my favorite pics of him and haven't found it yet.

The gray suit? He was very handsome in it.

I guess that picture of him in the suit looking "Oh so handsome" was on Maryanne's thread and since she is no longer on here it isn't either. I thought I had copied it, but I will probably never find it.

My deepest sympathies to the friends & family of Rudy. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing him but saw the interaction in Kiophen, I know he will be missed.

I felt like I knew Rudy through his many posts. I for one will think of him often, as I have in the past weeks. I always looked forward to even the smallest posts since he moved from Chicago. Just one of those people who you come to know and love, even though having never met him. RIP Rudy, I hope you are at peace, and living it up, upstairs! You'll be missed.
