Try scythe herbicide mixed with round up
Btw if you are using a sponge wear gloves so you don't absorb it into your skin
Best to use on hot dry days when plants are thirsty
If all plants are out ortho sells a ground sterilizer but you can't plant there for a few months after spraying

Thank you both for your suggestions. My closest feed store is for yuppieville, so not sure they'll carry Poast.

I saw this old thread from Kat. I am having a huge problem with grass growing up inside my plants along my sidewalk. I had a lot of work done on the
foundation of my house last year and when they put new grass seed, it was in all my flower beds. I have Monkeygrass growing along the walkway and it
is full of grass I have tried pulling it out, but can't get it all. It is also in my daylilies, so I'm afraid to spray roundup. Any suggestions that won't kill
      my flowers?
