Beautiful!
If they're the same, I've always called those ones "wild"... as they grow so fast, they form huge thickets in the back.
Its looking a little stormy here today. I did get the lawns mowed and some of the pots watered that were really needing it. I still have quite a bit of stuff to plant. I hope to get it all planted Monday and Tuesday between storms. Most of the pots are looking good. I did lose a few Sun coleus do too a drop in temps and they cant take it much below 42 some varieties are worse than others, I could stand a few filler plants but will just make do with what I have right now, I hope you all had a great weekend mine starts tomorrow. I am going in an hour late tonight as I had to work an hour overtime yesterday and they wont let us get any overtime,
When it comes to weather I get whatever you get. Yesterday morning we got 1.25" of rain, which we really needed, and I even got in a lot more garden plant before the rain.
Well since I had to go to work on my day off for training and it was raining I went plant shopping. I need to stay the hell home, I did get a hibiscus that I used to have years ago but gave away, I got a taro and a couple more banana plants and 3 Oleanders. I got some odd and ends too,
Thanks Paula. I have been working in the yard since I got up. I have mudded in and planted 6 more container gardens, I have also planted all of my cannas that have been setting around needing in the ground, I got my perennials all planted too. I still have almost 7 flats of annuals to plant. They wont get done today the ground is just too wet. I am tired too. I need to wash clothes my drawers are scattered all over the house.
Well I have been outside working on this beautiful morning. I have been neglecting the flower beds on the stream and this year I am planting vinca in them to see if it will grow and bloom there, I am already sweating like a pig. I have to go to work today so I can not get overly tired. I am going to try and clean around the stock tanks tomorrow and maybe do something with what tropical Lilies I have. I did not buy any at all this year. I just cant seem to get everything done. I do have wild Black Prince coming up in two or three of the tanks and some in the lily pond so I know I will have plenty of blue blooms, I also have a ton of them in small pots too. Just so much too do and so little time off.
I got up pretty early, the dogs fault not mine. I have been out cutting down trumpet vines around the stock tanks, its so weedy out there, I really need a bunch of new pots for out in front of them mine are falling apart. I got them at Sams club a few years ago and its like they are almost made of some sort of plaster and they are flaking apart,. I just came back in to get something to eat and take some Advair and Albuterol for my asthma I am gasping for air so need to settle for a few before I get back after it. So much to do so little time. I also need to do something with my tropical water lilies. All of these weeds and brush are on the DARK SIDE the places you dont see in my pictures,

Ok taking a second break and first shower of the day, I had grass clipping all over me and maybe a bit of poison Ivy clippings too, I got the Dark Side of the stock tanks weeded and cut down, Now I can actually walk up to them, still need to work on the lilies though, lots lots lots too do.
Today I am building a flower bed along the driveway.
You get so much done, it really makes me fill lazy!
P.S.
Pigs don't sweat!
Apparently you have never seen me. I got both yards mowed almost fell when I got off the mower. Took a while to straighten up after mowing the bad parts in the front yards, The Gas Company is supposed to be here tomorrow to fix both yards and driveways. I am not holding my breath, I am about to take the second shower of the day and then eat a bite and finish planting the vinca bed.
