Your variegated seedlings look great! I remember last summer the sun seems to be much more intense and my plants had burned spots when they never had before.

Its May the 23rd and we have not really had any nice warm sunny weather this spring at all this whole month maybe 4 days and them cloudy or rain. Things have not grown. My yard is a mess and only been mown was this year so grass is tall. No roundup has been sprayed so the weeds are high everywhere. The pots are mostly planted and partially fertilized. Just need lots of weeds pulled and some warm weather. This is the last pics for about a month. The large branch fell after I moved away from fertilizing the pots it landed on I was bent over planting some SunPatiens and when I moved the limb fell it would have hurt like hell hitting me on the heard and neck if I had not moved.

Looking good Gary. Glad the branch didn't fall on you. I love the taro with the white down the middle. It looks like Nancy's Revenge.

Nancy I am not sure it does say its more sun tolerant. I might have too move it later. I got 2 small gardenias that said full sun and I thought they grew in the shade I put them in pots and they are still blooming smell so good too.

These are the first leaves on these plants this year. They have not been getting enough sun because it has rained here all spring and is raining now. The color is a bit lighter than they are because its so dark outside the flash is working on the camera. The last pic of of what used too be called a Thailand Giant and I bought it at a college nearby. It is having a hard time it got frost bit pretty bad right after I got it. It is starting too grow finally as are the caladiums planted at its base. The names are in order Alocasia Great Humongous it has Carolyn Wharton caladiums in the pot also, Alocasia Dark Star has caladiums also but they are just starting too poke through, Xanthosoma violaceum with impatiens as a filler and last but not least. Well it will be huge when the weather gets warm it also has White Queen caladiums at its base.

Everything looks great Gary. My caladiums still have not even started up yet. Maybe they are getting to old. I have had them about 8 years now.

well the only ones that came back from last year are the ones I pulled up and dried the rest rotted in their pots even after I brought them inside. They are sprouting just slow because of the cold and wet weather we are having
