I really should be out working in the yard

I would really like to plant a few things today but dont really want to move anything out in the open we are supposed to get a lot of nasty weather Saturday of course if we get the nasty weather they are talking about, some one miles away might find my pots and plants at their house.

Go ahead and put the pots in the plants...it'll make them heavier and harder to blow away.

I can't get in the mood to plant anything really...we will surely have an April 30 frost...that'd be normal.

LOL, Sue I just have to say this, don't you think it would make the plants heavier if you put the plants in the pots?

My temps. for the next 10 days. I think I am good to go plant now. I will put my Impatiens in my pond Monday. I would sooner but my GD is with me this week. We spent all day yesterday at the NC Zoo!
I hope you don't have the bad storms.

Thanks I do too, I did go out and repot a few things like 2 of my variegated alocasia and 4 of my golddust rosemary. I want the rosemary to get bigger before I put it out this year it did not thrive through the rainy spring last year. so I am going to try and get it bigger so it wont get lost in the pots this year,

I just putout 60 tomato plants, and now they are saying hail! So I went out, and covered them all with chicken wire, and tarps. I hope I miss all of the bad weather, but just to be safe there all ready!

Gary I can,t believe you have so much already up and blooming . Our trees don,t even have leafs yet. Close call on that storm its one of the few occassions that its good the weather man is wrong. Usually it the other way around.

I have worked my butt off today. I got up early and started working in the yard, I have 136 pots planted already and just few more left to go, got my Hosta planted today along with my Heuchera. got a few more knockout roses this makes 15 need to plant 4 more. Got all of the bamboo dug up and transplanted, Took some to a neighbor that wanted to plant it on his creek. I got me some of those strawberries that Daves Garden was talking about a couple of weeks ago, these are everbearing Mara des Bois they say they are the best. I put a few in some of my pots. I have always loved growing strawberries, I have some that have been growing for over 20 years just a few as I dont take care of them. I have too many sowbugs and slugs to grow a big bed of them plus too many dang weeds. I planted 2 more planters of herbs also. I love walking but them when the sun is beating down on them and releases the oil and makes the basils smell so good/

Man you got a lot of work done! Do you have any pictures?

If your neighbor plants bamboo next to a creek it is going to grow like crazy!!
