There probably wont be anymore pics of the plants this year. Things are starting too wind down and last weeks 10 inches of rain destroyed a lot of the pots of coleus. This is mainly pics of the plants under the old greenhouse. There are not any aisles left too get down. Some of these pics were taken today and some during the times when the storms let up so walking through the greenhouse when they plants are wet you are going too get soaked too the bone. Some are duplicates because some are wet and some are dry enjoy.

Gary it looks like you have had beautiful plants to surround you all summer. You have some very nice plants.
I hope to be able to enjoy my outside plants until mid October or so.
Summer seemed to fly by and it wasn't as interesting for me because I didn't visit any nurseries other than Lowes.

Thank you Nancy this has been a very very hard year for me, My asthma has been worse and now that I am the last of my family there does not seem to be much that interests me. these pots and those 2 dogs have been all that have kept me going this year. My yard needs 2 dozen yard boys too cut down sprouts and wild trees it would take weeks too get it back in shape. but I try too keep the back yards mowed every couple of weeks so the dogs dont have too run through wet grass taller than they are.

I am hoping next Spring will help to bring you more interest in the next growing season. We need to research plants and find some really interesting ones over the winter so we can look forward to getting back into gardening. I hope your asthma gets better for you.

are you talking about the plants with the white and pink blooms? That is Sunpatiens. If you are talking about the alocasia in with the pink blooms its a seedling from my big variegated calidora

I was just out walking in my shade house at twilight and I love how the colors seem so vibrant in the low light, I am really going too miss my plants when its time too put them too sleep this year. I sure wish I could recover and enclose the part of the green house they are under. Even if I could afford to put new ends up and recover it I could never afford the gas too heat it over winter. I should have marred into money.lol

I just got 36 peony tubers.

Has anyone successfully grown them in pots?

I had a neighbor who grew them in pots. They need large pots because they have a lot of roots that go deep.

SunPatiens overwintered very well for me. I didn't do any last winter because I decided not to keep any this summer.
