Well I started moving the plants out today got most moved out into the yard. They all look pretty bad but they are alive. So I need too start cleaning them up. I will clean them and try and spray them with malathion too kill all of the mealy bugs they seem too get over winter. Then I will put the ones in the water troughs that go there and then top dress them with some organic fertilizer and some potting soil and then plant some caladiums or Impatiens in with them. Lots too do. Just an old man too do them too. He is getting slower. I am going too try a few different things this year not sure how they will do. I hope these pics are good enough my eyes seem blurry from all the pollen and cant really tell if I got them in focus good enough.

First off yes I know the lawn needs mown the mower is in the shop.
Sorry I could not save you my friends. I have had some of you for 20 years. I tried the best this old body would work. I will not remove the blankets and coverings today. I dont think I can stand too see the carnage. My Oak leaf Hydrangeas that I did not get too cover look melted and so do my hosta. My Phyllis Williams Hust Phlox was almost 3 foot tall already I just threw
a sheet over it and hoped for the best..I have always been able too get my pots back on the back porch before but this old body is worn out. I dont know how much will survive but I know some will and I still have a lot on the porch I pray that the ferns I got for my cousin and a dear friend made it through I had too even use my table cloths over them.

Things came out better after the sun came out. Some of the leaves did get scorched and lots of plants and weeds that were not covered got fried. Some of the things I covered got a little tip burns but better than what I thought

I just got a call about my lawnmower. They are holding it for ransome. I even supplied the belts and blades because I bought them and then could not change them myself. I was expecting somewhere in the neighborhood of 90 dollars they were changing oil and greasing it too. they change 3 idler pulleys and now they want 247. plus more too bring it home. bstds I dont even like mowing grass anymore. I think I will buy a cow

Well, It looks like working in the backyard is out of the question today for me. It's raining here for me. I wishes I could be doing the Gangnam Farmer Style outside today. Hopefully the rain will stop at the end of the day and have enough sunlight for me and my DW to do something.

This is my Old variegated Calidora. It has 2 pups that are growing quite large. We have not had much warm weather this spring at all so things are really slow. We even had a freeze after I brought them all outside and with a friends help I was able too save them. These are the first leaves on one of the pups this year and on the original. I am not sure what too do about the original trunk. I dont really want too do anything hoping the leaf size will get. better but not sure what too do as you can see its quite large. I am not able too stop the burning in the yellow part of the leaves. I did not notice it at all until last year and nothing I did made any difference.

Here is 2 pics of my variegated calidora seedlings. The first pic is of a new leaf on my biggest variegated seedling. The other pic is of 6 plants in the same pot.most are very varigated but are kind of stunted from not having sun and water all winter and being infested with mealy bugs. I am kinda excited too see what they do if the rains would just stop for a while and we would get some warm weather.
