Wow Gary you have been busy! All of your containers look beautiful. Your ferns look huge. Did you overwinter them?

No I did not over winter them they need a greenhouse during the winter I did try but they barely survived. These are in 10 inch pots I think. They came from our Southerland lumber company in Fort Smith Ark. They have greenhouse and a great garden department. They get in somewhere in the neighborhood of 20000 ferns or more each spring, they offer them too the garden club members for 12 dollars and for non members 20 dollars. I got 2 Macho 2 Kimberly and 6 Bostons. I got them before I went too visit Stephen and Mary and had too put them in the house because we were having one bad spell while I was gone. It was the last spell of the year. Then the rains started right after I got everything outside some is still in the middle of the yard because the ground is saturated.

I am getting closer too being done planting. still got a lot of Ornamental peppers too squeeze in and lots of Caladium bulbs too plant. This year I am going too squeeze some bulbs in too these pots as well as pots of Alocasia and pots by them selves its going too be a long ride. I hope I am able too hang on. Lots of the pots are looking shabby but they will do. I try too add trailing plants too those. The soil in all the pots needs replacing but that wont happen anytime soon its getting down too muck everything in it has composted . It could stand a gallon or 2 of perlite and potting soil mixed with it.

I have not really had too start watering yet. Just a bit of spot watering but we have been pretty wet since it started raining this spring. I have been really sick the last week with so many differnt things at once. I am better today but my lungs feel really strained. I thoughy I was doing better 2 days ago and finally got the grass cut. I also had a set back the next 2 days too. I will get done what I can do and let the other go for a bit.
