      Most of the kids are autistic. That is why the counselor/student ratio is almost 1 to 1 in the pictures.

      My wife is a school teacher and often speaks about autism and how hard it is on the children. I am sure they will remember this day for a long time. Looks like Mary had a blast too.

      Thanks so much Stephen fpr hosting this event. I work with special needs kids in 6th through 8th grade and I love it. It is a second carrer for me as I was a tool and die maker for 20 years before I went back to school to be a special education teacher. The kids never cease to amaze me.

      Mary got a call from the academy today and they said they would like to visit again sometime in the next few weeks. They said the kids had more fun at this event than any other.
