We do have over 50 koi, but as of yet, we don't have a single goldfish. Where is everybody? Nobody wants to win the ribbons for goldies?

I would like to compliment Mike on his ability to communicate problems with entries and what you can do to make them better. All of this without an attitude is much appreciated.

Mike, I have a question for you. I have two fish I would like to enter. I have good pictures of both in a bowl with no markings. I also have several not so good pictures in a bowl with markings. So, here is my question. Can two pictures be entered for each fish? Thanks, GG

At this point only one picture + a video is allowed. There are one or two koi entered where the scale can not be seen, but a video showing the length is there as well.
I will look into the option of adding more than one picture.
For now, enter the not so good pictures that shows the scale.

This is a good question, as, in the past, separate photos, one showing measurement/benching and one for show entry were required. The measurement photos don't need to be posted to the show arena area per se, but just as background info for the benching team/judge(s) to use for reference. I would add though, that the best, clear shot of the fish is quite helpful to the judges.

Right now its 1 picture plus a video. There is no area set to store additional pictures. The additional picture would need to be stored online with access for the benching team and judges, and the pictures would have to be tied into the entrants tank, and the specific koi.
What I think might be a lot easier of a upgrade... is make it one picture plus the option to add a second picture and/or video.
The entrant can upload his/her good quality photo as the main.. and have a backup... maybe a not so good picture that may show the koi with scale.

Last I heard there was no Goldie Judges??? I don't know if I will get pics done or not. Guess it is no use any way if there is no competition. Not sure that I want to stress the fish (and myself) out now in the colder weather, since I didn't get them taken earlier in the year.

Don't give up yet. I have one goldie that I am just waiting on some competition before entering. Moodymike has some that he was going to take pics of the other day. We are still looking for a goldie judge.

Come on everyone. Get them in. We still have a couple of weeks, but time is running fast.

I have a week to try. I also have to find a blue tub. Supposed to be 38 tomorrow and 65 on Sunday, so maybe...Wish I could catch Kojack..but don't have a net big enough and he is toooo fast anyway. He has gotten really big in the past year.
