Stephen, the one thing that has always impressed me with your ponds, both this one and the old one, is the water clarity, They are always so gin clear. I know your not using the advantage bead and glass filters with this pond, what do you owe the superb clarity to?

Great pond. I had never seen these pictures before and I really enjoyed them.

But, there you go with all the great rocks. I love what you did with the rocks in the waterfalls. Was nice to see before and after with water.

Just being nosy! Do you just order a truck load of rocks and come up with some very unusual ones or do you actually do some hand picking of them.

Really enjoy seeing pictures of your pond and the water clarity, what can I say. I know that you pond is very deep and seeing all the way to the bottom drains is impressive.

Filtration, filter maintenance & water changes.

The Q Pond uses an advantage15 bead/glass combo, Mary's ponds uses 2 advantage15 beads and 1 glass. I use large inefficient pumps that runs the filters' flow to their max. The Sac15's run at about 110 gpm. My Big Bertha beads each run at about 300 gpm.

      Some pictures from the past.

The only failures are those that stop trying! There is a very thin line between procrastination and delayed gratification. You won't be happy with what you want, if you aren't happy with what you have. It's not what you are looking at, but where you are looking from.

I picked out some of the larger ones at StonesPlus in Jacksonville but the smaller ones were just truckloads that came direct from Tennessee mines.

Bottom drains are at 11 feet

That is one of the nicest ponds I think Ive ever seen. I would love to see a few more pics of the whole pond, to see how everything sits together. I think you need a few more monitors and measuring devices, wait Ill get a lawn chair and some sunscreen and personally keep an eye on things.

      cant find my speedo anywhere
