WWKC Breeder Show

The committee is thinking of having a breeder show. We think the same rules that apply to the hobbyist show would be appropriate, but are thinking that due to the limited number of breeders, that we should limit the varieties to gosanke and non-gosanke, and sizes be less than 8" and greater than 8", and the only participants would be koi breeders.

One, is there any interest.

Two, would the proposed rules be what you think would be best, or would you think some modification is in order.

I agree, I'd like to see a breeder show.
The sizes might be a bit challenging though. At that time of year I'm not sure we'll have that many under 8" so most will end up in the over 8" category.

I am not sure what size this years fry will be or if they would even be out of the mud by October 5, so lets try to establish an appropriate size. The pics are allowed to have been taken within 6 months of the show, so culling shots would be admissible.

I think would be awesome and I think that if a dealer ACTUALLY bred the fish themselves it should be allowed as long as they are not professional breeders........does this also include goldfish?

i know its old but i would like to bring this back again.. I am new to this so I wish could participate if there is any this year
