      Project fiberglass

      Heres the latest.
2 of these (large with settlements) with a 65 foot stream.
Total volume ( to be metered) 10,500 ++
Lots more to draw... upper and lower falls.
The lower is next to a building so the wall becomes a waterfall.
The upper to have a 12 foot by 6 foot cap rock falls. The stream will have 2 sheet falls of approx 1 foot drop each.
With the building materials issues I'm beginning to use these for smaller projects. More designs are in the works.

      Bzz,
I seriously considered their preforms in my planning stages but they never got back to me on various questions (shipping, modification, etc). I still think they have cool stuff if you live close enough to their shop.

      Yepp.
He stays busy as hell. Like a year behind but I'm trying to push him on this koi stuff instead of the regular aquaculture tanks, but they're his bread and butter.
He's coming around. I have this double tank project, a single, and another may be going to a B&B in Key West, if I can fit it to the site.

I had planned this winter to start making a couple of molds up for pre-form fiberglass ponds similar to what you have shown. The Koi farm that I deal with, and have gotten to be good friends with, is very interested in my ideas. I had searched all over the net, but never found anyone doing these, ****, beat me to it. That's ok though, there's plenty of work for everyone....... :D

Cracking preforms but I think you would need to be religious about purging the settlement sections, that would be one heck of a job to clean if the 'mud' caked/compressed solid, calling Jacques Cousteau.

Not even. This dude ran Dolfin Boat company for 40 years. I pulled one out of the ground that was in since 1997-98 about 2 months ago.
Wrapped a tree sling around each end upper lip and snatched it !
New flexpipes, pressure cleaned, new hole in the ground and in she went.
To clean the settlements you flip a switch, wait for it to flow clear....done.
It has a skimmer, a mid level, and then goes to yet another, external, settlement that also has matt and brush chambers.

      They're an overstockers dream.

Thanks for the link :p I was hoping they were on the east coast. I can see a good future with making fiberglass ponds. Once I get a couple of molds made it'll be all downhill from there

I as well have been self employed in the boat business for 15+yrs. I used to do tons of custom fiberglass maufacturing. I have gotten down to doing almost zip, cause it was killing me, literally, but if I can get the molds made up and have a employee lay them up I can concentrate on doing the plumbing, which I like...........

I just installed the 14'8 x 7' x 3' pond in my yard. While it's too late in the year to complete all the landscaping, the pond is up and running. I really like the preform as it fit the configuration of my lower deck. the "peanut" shape is wrapped by my deck and the Koi literally look as if they are floating on my deck. I also installed a Savio skimmer......a REAL PIA due to the curvature of the pond. However, I got it to work perfect, ( no leaks), and it drives 3 TPR's. I do not have the waterfall set up as of yet....I also have an Ultima II filtration with an 80 watt UV. So far........the Koi love their "SPA"! I purchased the pond here locally in N.J. and had free delivery. The dealer stocked all three sizes as you show. :D

I love 'glass. You can DIY build it in place or buy one. No need to reinvent the wheel though, think pool dealer. You can order them in various colors or go with standard and let the aglea get you to a natural color.
