They are an immutabilis seedling. I sprouted them in a baggie floating in water in an aquarium. I have a light and filter going, also a heater. It is about 80*F. After about 10 days they sprouted and I put them in the pots. With fine yard dirt and sand over the top of the dirt. I also plant seeds on top of wet dirt and put a thin layer of sand over the seeds. These seeds have been growing a while in the dirt after I planted them. I would say they have been in their pots about 2 weeks. Immutabilis are a lot bigger seeds to float. Other water lily seeds are very tiny and hard to plant after they sprout. I personally would rather plant regular water lily seeds and cover with a fine layer of sand. This is for fun and to learn how to do it. That is the only way you will learn is try it. I have done it before and grown immutabilis from seeds Craig sent me in 2007.
I Grew Nelumbo Nucifera ( hope I wrote that down right ) Sacred Lotus from Seedand every one of these took but were Stone Dead shortly after the reached 1 ft
