      I have been Bad..

Ihave been calling my fishes the "B" words because they have rooted all the media and my lilies out of the lily planters and have gravel all in the bottom of my pond. When I went to repot the lilies I realized why and it is all my fault. I had read somewhere that clay soil from your yard was good to plant lilies in. That is what I did last year and didn't realize that I was planting earthworm beds in all my plants. When I replanted lilies last week I realized my mistake. And I wondered why there were so many earthworms extracted from the pond when I did water changes. Well, all lilies are re-potted minus the clay earthworm factories and the fishes will just have to get whatever I happen to throw to them in the way of food. One did get a nice slug and one a nice grub minus it's pincers yesterday. And they give quite a show when I throw in the Blackwater Gold. They all break the water fighting for the tasty new food.

Only GOD can turn a MESS into a MESSage, a TEST into a TESTimony, a TRIal into a TRIumph, a VICTim into a VICTory. GOD is GOOD... all the time!

Lord when you build my cabin in the corner of Glory-Land, Please be sure to include a fish pond. Thanks

Glenda that is too funny. Amazing what worms can do.

Wow, I've never had that problem but I guess my yard dirt didn't have worms in it. Poor fish (& you for the mess) ... they had such a great treat.

Just look at it this way, you gave your fish something to do during the day to keep them from getting bored! It is frustrating to have them do things like that though.
