I didn't have a deck or wall to hide my filter house, so I decided to design it into the backyard using the same materials as my house.
No questioning that. I found that I could have more bio capacity for about the same price if you build English style filters yourself. It was a hard decision for me, but it came down to just that, bio capacity.
I also have a Ultima II 20K bead filter, so I guess I did both DIY and manufactured equipment.
