I love roses too, Gary. I use to have a lot but as years
go by and I lose one over the winter here and there, I haven't
replaced. A bunch of work and time in roses around
here. I still have a few but have lost my favorites, the old
English roses!!

Gary, those are wonderful! The deep pink color is my favorite color in any flower. I bet your yard smells heavenly. Have you ever found anything that beats Japanese Beetles?

You like, or at least photograph, the variegateds?
My fave is the old Peace rose.
And anything in white.

Those look great! When I have my yard someday, roses are definitely something I would like to learn to grow. Are there any varieties that would do well in zone 8/9?

Sorry about the size...I went and resized them to 960x720 pixels and they still turned out too big. Not sure what happened but I do apoligise! Don't mean to be a show-off! :D :p :D jessi

I always have loved roses too Gander,
it is something that I shared with my mother
she was so into it, made me a member of the American Rose Society, and remember picking roses out of the Jackson/Perkins, and Armstrong catelog.
