One of my females spawned on Tuesday of this week. The eggs are in a tank with a bubbler, water temp is about 74 degrees. The eggs when first laid were yellow in colour but now they seem more clear in colour. Is this normal? Not sure on what the development of the eggs should be at this day. If anyone has any pics that would be great.

As long as the eggs aren't all white and fuzzy, they're good eggs. There should be two black dots in each egg which is the fry's eyes. Here are pictures of my past good batches of eggs.

Finally someone responds to my thread. Thank you so much. About how old would you say the fry are in the pic you posted? I don't see any fuzzy eggs yet, i'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again.

In both pictures they are about 4 days before the eyes were dark enough to actually get good pictures.

Ah Poopy! Looks like those eggs didn't get fertilized afterall. They're all gone, poof...just like that.

Frequently Fungus Sap etc destroy roe  this is why many treat with a solution of Malachite Green ..

when do you do that before or after eggs come. And i'm not sure if they got fertilized. I wasn't present to watch all the action, you know what i'm saying.
