I tore down my garden pond to make way for the koi pond. So I seperated all my goldies from the koi, including ghost koi babies.
I'm left with a few small ones I cant figure out. I see no wiskers, even on the ones I know are baby koi (due to their unique coloring)
Can you tell by their shape if their goldies or koi?

They all look like comet goldfish to me. I have had spawns that produced the exact same color types. They are cute! The black should eventually dissapear and they will be all orange.

The red ones with the long white tails are sure pretty. They have a tendancy to get really tame. My big red and white sarassa is the friendliest fish in my pond. I love him!!! So none of those fish in the goldfish tub have any whiskers right?

I cant see any whiskers on the colored fish, not even nubs. On the ghost koi i see tiny little nubs (i think), but I know their koi anyway so i dont have to look much hehe
The big red/white and solid white ones are about 5 years old. I had them since my tiny preform pond back in the day. Sadly they reproduce way too much and have to go. I'm not even going to look at them because i dont want to miss them!
I'm only keeping my 9 large koi that are in a large stock tank right now with a giant bullfrog lol. All the baby ghost koi are going as well, except one that hitch hiked in the net along with a large koi, he went in the stock tank, i'm not gonna bother fishing him out so consider him a lottery winner hehe
