Have/ do any of you use koi clay in your tropical aquarium. I was just wondering if it does so great in our ponds wouldn't it be good for the aquarium?

I dont see why not. If it works for the pond then it should work for the tank. As long as you get the right amounts in there. I'm interested to see what others have to say about this one. I am by no means an expert so I'm pretty much just saying my guess here. In other words dont listen to me until someone else says so.

since i have been using it in my QT for my ponds, i now use it in my aquariums....I have NOT noticed a difference in my quality of water but the fish's overall skin and health seem better to me.

Yes, I do use it in my aquarium and I really feel my fish are thriving. I do have double the filtration that is required. I just like a more robust water turn over in their enclosed invironment... I put 1/2 tsp in water than pour around the tank. It is 45 gallons. I also sprinkle it over the koi kibbles every once in a while. It is great for their digestive tract.

I was thinking it should be good for them, I have a 55 gal. a 45 gal. and a 29 gal. I run double filters on each and water quality is great, the 55 gallon has been going for about 15 years when we moved here from Ga. 4 years ago, I even brought most of the water with me for the fish not to get to shocky. But I thought to use the clay for the beter over all health of the fish.
