You'll notice that those photos were taken by Martin de Jong. I didn't even bother to take my camera with Martin along.

Nothing better than seeing a beautiful pond full of huge female koi..breath-taking. Over the last 15 years I have been lucky to visit many of the great breeders of Japan...Momotaro, Omosako, Dainichi, Izumiya, Isa, Matsunoske, Hoshikin...to just name a few (and there are many more...) have this picture you are talking about.

Its very cool to see the photos. I am hoping to get to see some of these places in my lifetime. I would love to do a harvest.

Save and budget for a trip and go with one of the dealers here on Koiphen...we take people to Japan and I know Gene does also at Koi Village.
Go with dealers that have gone before and have the experience to help you and make your trip a great one.

Something amazing about those Kigoi's. They say no pond is complete with our one. I love the red eyes and how the sun reflects off of them. Nice selection Brian. :)

I have to have one and the harvest is just begun. I liked the design of the pond in the photo with a channel for koi to swim and island shade.
