Well is there a story as to why you have them so young? Put another way, was this a planned parenthood or did you come by them some other way?

Looks like good and evil whispering in Blammos ears and evil must have his attention 'cause his eyes are red. :eek1: Hide the booze and ...... Ah never mind, let him have fun.:D:

RAN.org has a group here (amigos los aves) that breed for release in the wild....
I have 2 pairs and these offspring are unrelated.I'll finish taming them out and in about a year theyll be having younguns to release here.
I have plenty of wild ones flying around here but the closest nests I've found are about 4 miles away...I'm fixin to change that since I'm reforesting the rest of the property.I sent the cattle away...
Brian.....These 3 aint headed north..I'm all done with the corporatocracy/plutocracy... :cool3:
ALA has about 400 pairs of injured brood stock that were rescued mostly from illegal harvesting of exotic hardwoods. Those 2 stooges that tried to go roundyround with me a while back were "employed" by a moron in Palm beach

...I'm reforesting the rest of the property.I sent the cattle away...

I've read quite a bit about some of the former cattle ranches being re-forested down your way the past few years. Mostly managed forests with a mixture of native hardwoods and a few hybridized varieties for controlled harvest. Are you going that route, or just doing your own private eco-friendly project? In either case it is a great idea.

Aw they are all fuzzy looking!!! I had to look twice to figure out if they were real or not. I've only ever read about toucans - never seen them (come from a completely different neck of the woods!)...

I'm going with trees specifically benefitting the wildlife on this place. My property across the street has about 15 acres of primary forest ( hundreds of years old) and my plan is to entice the wildlife here for feeding and nesting.
I've eliminate the fer de lance (terciopelo) from this piece of land by natural methods... the mussurana snakes I brought in eat terciopelo....so... in essence. I'm crating a safe haven for birds and monkeys to breed/feed.
It's fun... My hummingbird project was quite sucessfull as well.
