The we finished it off by mom, daughter and other girlfriends going for dinner and a movie: 'The Last Mimzy'.
What a great movie! :yahoo:

I thought so -- but who knows, maybe you live next to a nuclear power plant.

What a nice pond! I must have missed it in LIJohn's other photos. I love the water pipes... but I wonder if flying fish have impaled themselves on those thin pipes? Are they soft? (Am I overthinking this? )

Its still cold where you are? It does look like a GOOD day.

Thanks Savannah.
That pond is where John keeps all his HUGE koi that aren't for sale, only for 'Stud'.
The average size, I would guess is well over 2 feet.
I can't imagine any of them getting out of the water that far.
Maybe if John sees this, he'll chime in on some stats.
I'm just guessing, and every time I am there, I am dumbstruck with awe.
It wasn't cold yesterday, got up to at least 60*.
Today it is already in the 50s.
But there was a skimming of ice on one of my birdbaths. :(

Noahsnana...I hope so.
I am going to plant my new Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium' today.
Was just outside walking around, coffee mug in hand, Gigi by my side, and finally found the perfect place for it.
