these new high tech equipments that much better than 10 yrs ago? where do you see the most improvement?

Unless the new high tech stuff comes in a 55 gallon barrel then no, I won't being seeing it.
Usually new, high tech means money and lots of it.

I follow the "wait till it comes out in paperback version" philosophy...wait for the DIY version.

I try to incorportate the "proven" new filtrations. things like k1 and bakki showers and then put them in older filtration methods like vortex chambers... I think a lot of the new high tech high priced stuff is sometimes just junk and people think it is good because of all of the hype
