That's gorgeous. I don't know how to grow bonsai, but I can see its beautiful.
Where did you find it?
How did you collect and repot it?
If it was just collected, why don't you work on keeping it alive for awhile - looks like you are doing a good job!

Hi,
I have 30 acres of lands in Midle, GA. In back of the propety is a creek,
some Beaver moving in and build a damm. I just try to look for the Beaver
when I found all this great Bonsai stock, I have this place about 25 years
Start doing bonsai about 5 years, all the new leave on this tree just coming
after I have report the tree for two month. I found this type of tree it hard
to kills and make a great bonsai.
I like to find native tree of area to make Bonsai .
Thanks

I found the name of this type tree is: Bear oak (quercus ilicifolia)
this is a deciduous shrub or small tree that rarely exceeds 15 ft.

The roots are lovely. Did the information you found help you with growing ideas? Does it like well drained soil? Slightly acidic?
