I have a lily that is in the same pond as the other lilys and the pads are turning yellow. The rest of the lilys are all showing normal growth and color. The pads do not have black spots, deformed pads, and these are not older pads that need to be trimmed. I just noted yesterday that the newer pads that opened were yellow like the older growth. It is still sending up a bud.The roots and rhimazone look and feel ok. A couple weeks ago I fertilized this plant hoping to see some improvement in color. Could this be a canidate for the compost pile? Lily rot or a fungus?Im out of ideas on this one. I think it an attraction.

Could of been that you OVER fertilized it? I've read that the pads will turn yellow over fertilized as well as under fertilized.

Sounds like fertilizer burn to me.

Thanks everyone. I did use time release. I think Ill pull it and put it aside in one of my grow out puddles. I will repot it. And just leave it alone!
