Does anyone know what this is? I've never seen a bulb like this before.

I have no idea but I'm glad to see you posting this morning. :)

Thanks, Jackie. We didn't even get enough rain to water the plants!

We were VERY lucky. We missed a direct hit up the mouth of Mississippi by 80 miles at the last minute!

I don't even have any limbs down in the yard. ;)

Thanks for the update, Sandy. I was thinking about you this morning and wondered how things were.

Odd looking bulb...wonder what it is.

Gary, it's not attached to a leaf or what even looks like it would have been a leaf. The two little bulbs are coming out of one large bulb. It was in the qt pool. The only lilies that were in the pool were the King and Queen of Siam. They were only floating in there for a couple of weeks before I planted them. I wonder if it's a King or Queen?? :)

its probably Queen since its a Viviparous Lily. I think you had a nugget and it tried to form leaves but was too cold so it formed more nuggets.

Gary, I put the nugget in the beach area until the storm passed. I just dug it out and the 2 shoot off nuggets are gone! I planted the main on to see what happens.

I bet they are floating in the pond somewhere. Since you leave yours out in the winter I bet they will show up some where. Good luck, gary
