Thanks nana, these are all in my "cottage bed". Yet to bloom are gladiolas and a few more daylilies. I have been quite happy with this bed. The zinnias are from seed just thrown on top of the dirt in mid-March. There are orange, hot pink and light pink ones so far.

Thanks ya'll, Jeannie...the little blue flowers are phlox...I don't know which variety. A friend gave me all the plants in this bed except for the rose, daylilies and gladiolas....she said that was phlox...I think...I will ask her again to make sure. Thanks again ya'll. I will post pics of the glads when they bloom....one of them is almost blooming now and it is bright red!
Mary, I have many many daylilies and I don't know the names of any of them...except for 4 that my daughter gave me for Mothers Day this year and I am looking forward to them blooming...they are Joylene Nichole, Friars Lantern, Jedi Dot Pierce, and Little Grapette. I will post pics if I get blooms this year. She got them online too...from some place that digs them the day of shipment...so I hope I get some blooms this year.

Flox, huh? Nice........I will get getting some of that! I just love little blue flowers, I wonder how they might do next to a waterfall or with wet feet by the pond? Anyone know? Jeannie

Jeannie, I don't think it would like wet feet but would tolerate some moisture.

Beautiful pics and flowers! I think that's another thing I could become addicted to.....daylilies, there are so many varieties. I'm not starting that addiction, no room, have to remember that!
