I'm in need of one or two 3-way valves. 2 inch.

Can anyone recommend a decent brand/model? Or has anyone had bad experiences? I don't want to buy a piece of junk that will be difficult to turn, get stuck, etc. Thanks.

I've used 3 different brands of 3-way valves. The white ones in the AES cayalog are OK for directional control only and if used to "seal" a line will eventually leak. I have also used a light grey version and they leak as well. Jandy valves are expensive so I found a great "triple union 3-way valave" from Gene at Koivillage. Hope it helps.

Steve - Thanks. Is it the one in the photo here? http://www.koivillage.com/pond_accessories/pvc_parts.html

Though he didn't elaborate on the Jandy except for "expensive". I wonder if they are better still?

I'm going to use this to create a way to hose down my tanks/media with pond water vs. lugging the hose or having it laying around. So I'll be using this valve constantly & it's important it works well, easy, and doesn't irritate me on a repetive basis. :)

So are Jandy's all that & a bag of chips? Just pricey?
