Here's a few pics of what I've been able to raise from (2) spawns this year, one standard fin spawn, one longfin spawn. Anyone see any keepers? Sorry about the glare. Gotta work on that.

Eric - if you look at him up close it has the Sumi pattern of a Tancho Sanke... for now. :D: I'm hoping it will turn out to be Tancho Showa-ish

Rain - I have (1) 3 step and (1)3 or 4 step... depends on which side you look at. It's left side is a nice 4 step but on the right side there's not a clean break between the 1st and 2nd steps. I guess it would be a dual purpose fish.

Nice job on your spawn! As your kohaku's grow the will patterns change. As your fish mature, you may get lucky with them. What fish did you use for the spawn?

Tommy - I used a Female GR Hariwake, Male Kohaku and a Male Sanke for the 1st spawn and for the 2nd spawn I used a Female Yamabuki Ogon and a LF Doitsu Hariwake. Here's some pics from last year below.
