      Wicked facial pattern.

The beni is not great but it is easier to get away with it on a showa. The sumi pattern is transforming this average fish into an interesting one.

I liked the head size and shoulders. I thought the body was good and hope it is something I can improve it in my pond, her beni isn't that great, both my dealer and I seen a sumi pattern that was consistent even as a tosai and something that should look very exciting the bigger she grows.

      Have you had HER long?

Be a cracker if the sumi pattern on the nose develops.

Are the 1/2 sumi scales referred to as kage.

Judging by the peduncle I think she could in time develop a nice body.

      Interesting fish, I like it.

      Cheers and thanks

To comment on Skin Quality would be nothing but a guess.

Nothing wrong with the Showa, I'm sure it looks great swimming in your Pond. The one issue with this Showa that can be seen from the photos is the Pec Fin issue on the left side of the Koi. No big deal in your Pond, but an issue in a Show.
