I had a list of Shusui, Asagi, Tancho, Ochiba, and my growout Showa. I did doubles on the first two. The tancho was the best one there, only two vendors had them (others were Kohaku in the making). I did not see a single Ochiba I liked, very few this year. Dan from Sundan wasn't there and he always has great ones, so I will have to wait until next year. When I went for my Asagi I saw the goshiki I liked. When I went to get my Showa, I saw the Ki Shuisi and it was hard to pass up.
Awesome!! looks like a lot of great fish! I wish FL wasn't soooo far away
I wish I could spend more money than I can. What time sunday will it be *open*?
dang it! I have to find a way to be avail before noon then!! I thought it was the same as today, noon or so on
I take it the four step Ochiba Shigure wasn't for sale? I'd love to have that one, saw a few more that appeared to be in the vendor tanks I would have liked to look at closer.
Are they having a auction at the end of the show? We got a couple of great fish at the auction when we went to the Dallas show.
The Dallas show was my first Koi show, Toward the end of the auction there was a 28" sanke that most of the beni had faded away, They called her Cheetos and it looked like there was cheese for a Cheetos smudged on her in a few places. It sold for a whopping $10. lol Although I am glad I didn't try and win it my wife still brings up the koi we missed out on for $10.
