Probably my computer but I couldn't hear what you were saying on the video. The pond and yard
      look amazing.

Did Kent Wallace have a hand in the design?

They are called artistic pavers, 40% sea shell and 60% concrete so in the peaks of summer of here in Vegas it doesn't not get hot, its very cool stuff .

Kent Wallace is doing everything under the water as in water filtration and what equipment to use and have, I hired on my previous 6k gallon pond and runs great.

No way that filtration system is better then RDF and a shower combo. Just pray you don’t have string algae with Bacitwist. OP, you have a very beautiful pond and back yard.

Ive never had string algae in any of my bacitwist in my previous pond, RDF I'm not a fan of with the mechanical electrical parts especially in the heat, i would rather to an up flow gravity sand filtering pond running on less then 5 watts then have a RDF, this system is way better then an RDF

I talked to him about it at a koi show. In the end he had great results from Kent. I do agree on a rdf being better but don't think Chad will be disappointed in this setup. If he is then he can add rdfs or what not later.

Kevin, I drank a $6,000 bacitwist coolaid so I do know it very well. I hope this beautifull pond has a better result then my pond originally.

Just an opinion, I prefer paved rectangular/square ponds over mud ponds
