We found a couple of Ochiba. Both are Nisai 12" and "might be" female. There were no indications of male but that doesn't always mean female when they are smaller like these.
The Ochiba in the first picture is SOLD

Masaru Hosokai is our shipping agent in the Ojiya area so we had to spend the rest of the afternoon doing paperwork. We are getting Tosai from Yamanaka Ohya (mix of kawarimono, metalics), Shinoda(Doitsu Gosanke, GR Showa, Hi Utsuri), Abe (Goshkiki, Gosanke and Asagi), Hosokai (Goshiki, Shiro Utsuri, Aka Matsuba, Shusui), Kase (Metallic), Kanno (Goshiki) and Hirenaga Koi (longfins).
These with the other Koi give us 22 boxes from Ojiya.
After the paper work was done it was time to say goodbye. Masaru Hosokai is on the left and his brother Tdashi Hosokai is on the right.
Wow, how do you do it, you both still look bright eyed and bushy tailed!!

It's the cold weather. Hard not to wake up in all that snow. Of course looking at all those koi must also be invigorating.

Russ:
I wrote to my friend who is a professional photographer about your new camera and here is what she said...
"Here is what you do: Put it in a bag of RICE for about 3 days. Do it with the lens on the camera, don't take it off. See what happens, if it still doesn't work take it to Nikon."
She works for national geographic, so I suspect her idea is a good one...
