Chagoi, kohaku, I’m not much of a sanke person too much of chaos. I’m more into clean modern looking koi with exceptional potential. A white tancho kohaku. Or maybe a group of 6-8 some one type of fish will make my pond look stunning instead of a mix of different types.

Still using the ro. Fish are active and it seems the skin quality and beni has improved. Hard to tell so I might pull a few and bowl and take pics and video.

How big is it? Will the eco and rdf be sufficient for the pond? I’m liking their bio 30-50 combo

Will be 8,000 gallons. A combi 50 would be good. I have a 65/40 though

Nice pond will that be large enoughall koi lovers will end up buying more anyways. I learned today that how big a koi grows depends on its predetermined genetics one can only speed the process by filtration pond and quality of food. Interesting

I believe it all goes hand in hand. Best genetics. Good water and autofeeder, robust filtration. 8,000 gallon pond can have many koi. I do 3x turnover on my 1300 gallon tank so really with water changes etc the 15 koi are easy to manage and still getting fed 4x a day

Sorry for the horrible pics. I don't want to shut off the Shower and even with the air pump off the shower just circulates the water so much. Love round Tanks for this though. Spins easy
