Hello Koiphen Members, I am going to make a few changes to the pond this summer and the big one is looking at my pond pump. It is way to large for my 1,800 gallon pond (Artesan 2 7600 gph) and I am looking at a smaller, more efficient, self priming pump in the 4-5,000 GPH range. The filtration is all above ground Sieve, bead filter , heater, UV. Being above ground by up to three feet, I do have some head loss, thus the larger pump size.
I wanted to get some opinions on what the best pump and most efficient pump would be?
I would ten sell or exchange the two Artesan 2 7600 GPH pumps I have today.
I was thinking of the advantage ESS5200 1/4 HP 5200GPH ESS SERIES 115 VOLT PUMP as one potential option
