      showa 50

I originally traded Saltiery for another pick, but mine met an unfortunate accident. So I have raised her fish thus far, here are our results.I will add that these photos could have been better but it was getting late into the afternoon when i got home today. The white of this fish is porcelain, expecially on the head! From the original picture i never would have thought so much black would come up! Oh yeah, this showa is now 17 inches!

This is so sad...I haven't even seen her yet... It was my 50th birthday fish (#50) I was hoping the sumi would rise, I chose a really white one to see what would happen as opposed to the darker starting ones... Very Nice!!!! Thanks, Steve. Awesome job...when my pond stops leaking, I'll visit!

      saki hikari...it works!

So many ofthe atarashi sumi showas were so dark to begin with, I wanted to see what the difference would be with a light one... the skin is porcelain white, sumi developing nicely, hi...we'll see, thinner than I'd like, but was have really hard water.
