this is the doitsu budo guoromo that i had purchased for the west coast ikeage...........it didn't show up after three pond seinings...so it is probably not still in there but i have my fingers crossed for when jimbo drains the pond........

Nice fish Dan! Will cross my fingers, toss salt over my shoulder and drink a beer in hopes for its safe and healthy discovery so it can go to your most worthy paradise....
Looks pretty big in the picture... Gee, it will be nice to see how its improved..

Dan. I know there are at least three more good sized fish in that pond. because I saw them in the net on the last seine, two tried to jump out and i pulled up the net then I felt them hitting my legs and they must have lifted the lead line and gone under. I hope yours is still there and still growing.

thanks jessie......i posted pics because marilyn said she wanted to know what a doitsu budo guoromo would look like.....and so jimbo will keep an eye out for her.......and because i am being optomistic that this is the start of the grow out thread............either way it was a good pond pull and a good time

Dan don't worry I will keep an eye out because I'm still missing one too. I only live 15 to 20 minutes away so I will be helping Jim pull and hunt for all the missing koi.

Dan, thanks for posting the pics. I just got home from work so sorry for the delay, another 12hr day like we talked about.

What a lovely koi; I'm so sorry it didn't make the pull.
Like others I am hoping that it's an incredibly smart fish that is getting more mud pond experience. Must be a female, lol. You know we're never ready on time.
I've got my fingers crossed that it makes a late appearance.
Maybe when you cross your fingers with a missing fingernail it brings more luck.

I had so much fun and it was a blast to get to know you. You are such a good sport and thanks for driving Steve and I around.

Is every event that much fun?
Still learning as I go but y'all can call me Marilyn

I'll say something when I feel I have something worth saying. I'm not a fan of flapping my lips just because they are there.
