I'm familiar with that treatment, too. Well kinda: if I remember correctly, the fish could stay in the water for 3 days max. Then a 100% water change.

I think I would be happier with the 30 min. baths of OA and something a little more benign in Q, like Elbagin.

My prazi was 100 grams and came in a nice round container with screw on top. Maybe we could find the containers at a beauty supply or wholesale drug store supply. We need those nice containers that come in cosmetic bags or large pill bottles.

I will check pricing If everyone could list how much they are interested in it would help

100 grams for me. That would be a decent amount and price for everyone. Stacey, if you are going to put it together, why don't you just pack in 100 gram lots.

I have used oxolium and salt to cure dropsy. Used for 7 days at reccommended dose.

And last year healed several places on a new fish that looked like the beginnings of an ulcer.

I used oxolium, because it was all I had on hand at the time.

Include me in for 100 grams to use for dips. Not for large scale as I doubt I would do a 100% water change in QT or pond as that is frowned upon in my household (my wife is over the water billing in our town!). Wonder if Roddy or someone else would know what the results of a reaction with PP would be=toxic or safe? May be able to save the water and the inherent risks to fish of 100% water changes.

I'm interested also, that is if we are getting oxolinic acid. I can swing 100 grams, just let me know what my share would be. Hope I'm not too late... I want to try them jello shots

I'll try and pay more attention, it's just that work has been off the hook this week.

Stacey if you could break down how much it would cost per 100 grams it would help me decide how much I could afford. Since meds are hard to find here I would like to stock up.

We are true believers in the stuff. We started with the diluted meds available online and have moved on to the pure acid. We use this in combination with Baytril and as a stand alone treatment. A word of caution, that if the ulcer is large the treatment may be fatal. FO r smaller ulcers one treatment can be sufficient.

We have used the the Oxolinium over the last year and are thrilled with the results. Now using the pure acid. It is much more economical. Have never tried to re-use except immmedialtely after tratement of one fish. If treatinfg a large ulcer this stuff can be lethal.
