My Yambuki Ogon's lost his colour, What can I do to help him regain it?

Right my yambubi ogon has lost his colour basically, I've tried all the foods that apparently enhance colour, but none have successfully worked!

Does anyone have any tips or advice to get him all yellow again? any specific foods or procedures or something i've not thought of?

      much appreciated.

Foods that use marigold as part of the color enhancing process may help.

However, I've had problems with yamabuki yellow myself. It may be a "water" thing ... and once it's gone, I've never had any success in getting it back. I hope your luck's better.

From what i hear this is a very common thing. this happened to my yamabuki as well. someone told me that if you pick a gold yamabuki baby it will most likely fade but if you but a light yellow colored baby it will darken.

doubtful, most likely genetics. I keep a light yellow one indoors year round and no color change this last year.
