      aphids on lilies

I have a major aphid problem on my lilies. I have no fish in my lily ponds. What is best to kill the aphids

cooking spray..yes really. Spray it on, leave for awhile to killl the buggers and hose it off. It seems to evaporate or something, but it goes away in a day or so. It can even be used with fish in the pool

Thanks Mary! That sounds like an easy fix I forgot to mention in my post that my dog drinks from the lily ponds - but cooking spray should not be a problem

You can just hose them with water too. It breaks their beaks on a good many of them, effectively eliminating their plant sucking days.

No expert here, just an opinionated ponder.
