    Exclamation Waterfall photos PLEASE

Please submit photos of just the waterfall portion of your pond, so we can all share ideas and help others who aren't sure how they want their waterfalls to look, yet (like me ).

Can't wait to see everyone's falls!

This simple little falls rolls off clean since it has a rubber liner over hanging the front lip. It only takes 1/2" or more of rubber, and the water glides off crystal clear and smooth... I can run as little a 1000 gph or as much as 5000 gph...
And, when entering the water, it slices the surface, leaving almost no ripples, yet air bubbles seem to rise to the surface from the deep like a curtain...

In this picture, you can see the above waterfall placed towards the right...
Notice - NO RIPPLES... Able to view the fish much easier this way... 5200 gallons of crystal viewing...

Meg's great shot gives you an immediate decision point...
    • weir or
    • waterfall
If you have a formal walled pond (especially one that is semiraised), a weir might look best. if you have pond with large rocks around the edge (especially in ground) a waterfall from a hill might look best.

I like the heck outta that weir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my pond and waterfall when I lived in ATL. It was all stone, but not designed as a Koi pond. I retriofitted it with bead, UV, etc, but when we moved to Raleigh, I took the oportunity to start from scratch.

    Same waterfall in January!!!.

    These are my waterfalls.

Carlos, I've always loved your falls with the lights. What type of lights are they and where are they placed?

Disclaimer: My little fisherman has nothing to do with prejudice. I thought his little face was cute so I told them what color I wanted his clothes and they painted him for me.
