      Well the impatiens are dead

There are a few still trying to hold on but most are gone now. Just my Joey Tomociek and Iris still green.

      Arrow

We had our first frost last night too.
Finally have all the orchids and houseplants in from the cold garage and scattered around the sunroom, orchids not blooming yet are in the laundry room. Most of my cacti and garage hardy plants (aquatic plants, water lilies and lotus too) are in the garage.
Still in my jammies....gotta hit the showers.

      Gander,
I love your pond. Do you enclose it every winter or is this your "greenhouse pond"?

That is one sweet set up. The impatients may be dead but everything else still looks wonderful.

Well, here in the Bay Area (California) it has been mid 70's all week and about 48 at night, but it was down to 43 this morning. Impatiens still doing good, but I am counting the days till the sensitive plants take a winter snooze.
      Thanks,

      Dennis
