      As mentioned earlier,

      We are located in a creek bed. Our illustrious City Council decided that in order to widen the road next to the creek they would move it over and make a flood channel. As they grabbed all the land they could under this guise they decided to now purchase any and all houses from here up to the park and expand the old fashioned rail line they have there. Hence the steam locomotive.

      That worries me less right now than the swarms of mosquitoes that are breeding in the stagnant water of their new flood channel. At least the old creek had sufficient depth to support fish and other insect eaters. Guess I'll have to blast the council with another letter.

      Your City Council sounds ALMOST as dumb as Corpus Christi's City Council when they turned down Sea World some 20 years ago and then Sea World went to San Antonio!!!
